Mothers in Business praises the model's flexibility in reconciling family leave and work, as well as the strong message of equality of the so-called 7 + 7 model. The Recognizing International Talent initiative was started in 2020 with the aim to improve the Diversity and Inclusion skills of employers and their ability to recognize international talents in the recruitment processes. Finland needs more skilled labour force and the internationals living here need more possibilities to get recruited in their own professional field.
