The autumn meeting of Mothers in Business has elected Olivia Kuusinen as the chairperson of the association for the 2024 term, alongside five new board members that were elected for the 2024–2025 term. In addition, the autumn meeting approved a renewed strategy for the association for 2024–2026.

Two early career social science researchers, Jawaria and Heidi got to know each other through the MiB network and quickly found that they had much in common. Shared personal ambition to do research lead into regularly meeting with a cup of coffee, talking about career and kids. 

Each of us mothers is so much more than a mom. We are strong, ambitious and skilled individuals and our identity consists of much more than just our role as a mom. Mothers are in charge of business, save lives in operating rooms, create amazing art, write code, and make the world a better place as activists.
